Here's my question: I had a guy stop me and say that my brake lights were not working....check fuses and bulbs they are all ok. The blinkers and the hazard lights also work fine. Could you advise me on what may be the problem and what to do.

Thanks

Hi there,

Check the brake light switch. This switch is mounted at the top of the brake pedal arm, it has two wires one should be 12V and the other goes to the brake lights. To prove the circuit remove wires and jump together with wire, don't let the bare wire touch earth (car metal) with ignition on and power at 12v wire brake lights should work. If not there is a fault in the wiring, If working the fault is in the switch or the adjustment of the switch.
