95 Toyota Corolla - running rough and sluggish

I have a 1995 toyota corolla dx with 128,000 miles with 1.8 Liter engine that was running rough, and would sometimes die at stp signs/ red lights. I would also run slugish when first trying to drive it from a stop. The mech replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, IAC and ignition wires. Car runs better when driving. But still has a rough idle and acts like it going to die when in drive and a/c is on. Has died twice while driving. What is the problem?

Check the EGR for carbon-make sure its getting vacuum from the VSV. Also might want to check the O2 sensor switching. Connect a voltmeter at VF terminal at the diagnostic connector to E1. At idle should be 0.45volts.
