I noticed my battery light came on out of no where but turned off as quick as it went on. About a half a mile later, I was turning into a parking spot and the steering wheel was hard to turn. It was raining pretty hard at the time. What could this be?

Start by taking car to any autoparts store and have charging system tested, battery, alternator, starter and any drains.

Some newer model Toyota's are equipped with an electric assist in the power steering.
