car is losing engine oil somewhere. no external leakage under hood or under car. had oil change. within a week dipstick showed no signs of oil in engine. added oil. now there's no sign of oil based on dipstick. oil light came on once for about a second.
twice on start up car smoked for about 2 to 3 seconds. car runs fine gas mileage excellent. no indications of problems ie. stalling lagging etc.

Hi and welcome 2carpros

no external leakage under hood or under car.

If its not leaking you must be burning it in the combustion chamber/cylinders. Any blue smoke on the back. If so this is an indications of valves/rings/cylinder wear/seals etc.

It sounds more like valve seals
