Hi! I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with my car. After I hit around 20mph, the engine gets really loud. I was worried it might be my transmission, but the shifting is doing so as it normally would. I can almost feel the noise while driving. Any idea what this could be? I just recently had a driving belt replace and my transmission fluid changed and it seemed to run better, but the noise/vibration is still there. The more acceleration there is, the louder/worse it gets. I scares me, because it sounds like it's going to explode! Help?!?!

Check the oil level and transmission fluid level, check trans fluid with engine running.

What kind of noise does it make? rattle, klunk, screech?

It just sounds like the engine is working way harder than it needs to be. It's really loud! Not a very specific kind of noise, I know. But It just sounds like I'm slamming the pedal to the metal, and I'm not. :/

It may be as simple as an exhaust leak, I would have it checked for that to start,
