I have water leaking in when it rains, looks like it may be coming in around the trunk on left top side and runs on the left side and ends up on the floor left side behind the driver seat and its alot of water if it rains hard or over a 4-5 hour rain. Any ideas?

Hi there,

You will have to remove the rear seat and hose the rear of the car down and watch for that leak, I would be thinking it may be working in from the boot seal but with that much water getting in it should not be that hare to see it, then talk to a panel shop about the best way to deal with the leak.

Does your car have a sunoof?

If it does have one, and if the drain pipe is clogged or if the water way (channel) is blocked, the water might end up on the rear seat floor. You can try this by first taking out the rear car seat and then go to a drive through car wash and try to see where the water is coming from. If you can remove the plastic cover found between your rear left door and windshield, it would be easier to see the water coming.

I had the same problem and the water ended up on the flloor. It took me some time to find the cause
