Hi, My 2003 Corolla has 58000 miles and has been sitting for a while because of a bad possible fuel pump and injectors When I try to start the engine, I get nothing. After a jump, I am able to eventually start the engine (after excessive cranking), but the car stalls shortly their after, and I am unable to start it again w/o another jump. Could all this be the result of a faulty fuel pump, or is there something wrong with the alternator?

It currently has a little more than a quarter of a tank of gas, should I fill the tank and try to get it started again? Need it running long enough to get to the shop.

charge battery
or start the car and check if the alternator charging
it sound that you are in need of an alternator
if the car starting and running im going to say the fuel pump is ok
