My drivers door power lock is stuck in the locked position. When I press the open button all the other door locks work fine. I have been having trouble with the inside door handle and I was using the outside door handle to open the door for the last 2 weeks until the door lock stayed locked. Can I fix this problem myself?

Hello .. thanks for the donation .. much appreciated ... hope this helps ...let me know !

ONLY ONE DOOR LOCK DOES NOT OPERATE

Perform the following checks in the order listed:
Check door lock motor operation. See DOOR LOCK MOTOR under COMPONENT TESTS.
Check wiring harness and connectors for tightness, damage or corrosion

Corolla
Locate door lock motor, and disconnect door lock motor 4-pin connector. See Fig. 9 . Connect positive battery lead to terminal No. 3 (Red wire) and negative battery lead to terminal No. 2 (Blue wire). Ensure door lock link moves to LOCK position. Reverse battery leads and ensure door lock link moves to UNLOCK position. If door lock motor operation is not as specified, replace door lock assembly and retest system.
