Car seems to steer different than other cars that we have. It seems to require more steering adjustments to keep the car straight. I had an alignment done recently which did not help. The mechanic indicated that the struts are worn somewhat on the front of the car - can this cause the car to not steer correctly. What is a nominal cost to have struts replaced on this car?
Thanks for any information.

I would probably seek another opinion, struts generally need to be replaced when the seals begin leaking fluid.
Somewhat worn, doesn't say much.

I would have the front suspension checked, ball joints, tie rods, bearings, brakes and bushings for excessive play, if everything checks and the alignment is correct rotate the front tires to rear and see if it helps.
