What could be the cause of a code P0440? I connected a reader to the car and have only one code that came up (P0440). Thanks

It is an error code in the EVAP system. This purges gas fumes back to intake for emmissions purposes.
This is a closed system.
Sometimes caused by a loose gas cap, but can also be caused by a purge solenoid, leak in system etc.
Have system scanned by dealer or trusted garage, then can test all solenoids and purge valves to isolate problem.
