My car is leaking oil, you can smell it after you drive it but it is not the valve cover. You can not see any oil residue. I think that it is the cam seal, but my exuhaust pipe spring bolts need to be tightened because it lets air escape so maybe it is that. Any suggestions.

An exhaust leak can cause significant damage, so fix that first. You can but a dye that goes in oil, drive car for a day or so and then inspect engine with black light.

Clean engine first, I would use brake clean and compressed air ON COLD ENGINE, and cover any electrical connections.
