1998 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl 132000 miles
I have a 1998 Corolla that just had a rebuilt engine put in it less than 1000 miles ago. And lately at low speeds been stalling or hesitating to go when gas pedal is pressed then speeds up rather quickly. It just started a few days ago and was on my way home now when my check engine started flashing and then just stayed on. light came on. I have taken it to an auto parts store and they said it could be spark plugs and/or fuel injector? Does that sound right? I'm a female and pretty clueless when it comes to major mechanical issues. How detremental is this to my car? Is it driveable to a mechanic. It has gotten to where to it does it at every red light/stop sign i stop at or come close to stopping.
