I recently had an independant mechanic rebuild my transmission. Since I got it back from him it seems at time it is lagging or laboring especially when coming from a dead stop. I don't feel any herky jerky motions but it just seems like it takes a while to respond. in addition, my gas milage has dropped from 32 mpg to 24 mpg. Any ideas of what could be causing these problems?
