1997 Toyota Corolla Outside smoke comes to inside

Hi there,

You have the option of recirculated air or outside air on your heater controls, if you controller is on inside air, I think it is a picture of the car with arrow circling the out side vent should be closed, if not you will still have outside air, entering the car and this can carry smells from the out side into the cabin, you mechanic will be able to check if the flap is closed fully and if it is working as it should.
