my 1997 corolla was not used for a long period of time. it was serviced and was in using condition until it was left again unused for a long period of time. Long period meaning years. last weekend, i had my never used new battery (bought a year ago when i had it repaired / discharged due to no use) charged for a day and installed it the next day. i was able to start it and had the engine run for about 45 minutes to an hour (I noticed that the cranking took a while before it started and it sounds different) turned on everything while the engine running... head lights on, aircon, hazzard and even put it on drive (of course the front part of the car was raised) so that the front wheels can run continuously. after the said time i turned the engine off and about 5 seconds switched it on again. this time it wont start anymore. there was a click but no crank. what do you think is the problem?
