Dear sir,
first of thanks for your services for us which you have been doing for helping we people.
My problem is that i have toyota corolla 1997 model 4 cylinder 1300cc manual. i have a bought it just now 4 months ago. 1 month ago one morning when i was checking the oil level it was not on its place where it should be then i realized that mobile oil was leaking some where around the oil filter underneath the oil chamber. i got my car checked by mechanic the oil filter is tight and other screws are also okay.as the car is driven for 15 mins and above it stars leaking oil beneath the engine around the oil chamber. i have got my car checked from mechanic but as i'm from pakistan there is no good mechanic who could recommend me the proper way to fix this problem every one says we will have to take the engine out but i don't want to do this i know the problem isn't much savior and can be fixed easily please help me and guide me to solve this problem i shall be thanks full to you
Your faith fully

HI there,

I would wash the engine first and positively identify the leak, if it is the engine sump or oil pan, this can be removed with out taking out the engine, but there is a bit of work in removing the exhaust and some or the lower frames, there is no gasket on the sump, it is sealed with a chemical sealant, I would make sure that any mechanic working on this fully understands what must be done or it will continue to leak if not done correctly.
