Dear Experts,
I own a Toyota Corolla CE110 (KD-CE110-AEMES-G) Model. I've been using it for many years. All of a sudden it started giving some issued related the cooling fans. When I drive the car in a very slow speed or if the car is in an idling state after sometimes both the cooling fans stop and the same cuts off the air condition system. Checked the Fans, Radiator, Engine gaskets, head and air Conditions units but found no issues with any of those units.
What could be this issue? Appreciate if you could kindly help me to get this problem rectified.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Most likely a cooling fan switch, which activates the fans, is bad.
Also possible cooling fan relay.

Hi Thanks a lot for the reply and appreciate the same.

I got my technicians to check what you have mentioned but found no issues with those components as well. They confirmed me that those are well in order.

Furthermore I do not experience this problem in the evening and night time. When the outside temperature is low (normally evening/night temperature is like 23°C - 26°C , Day time 30°C - 34°C) cooling system works fine even when the engine is in idling condition.

Is there anything else that I should pay my attention on? Do you think I should replace any other parts?
Appreciate if you could kindly help me to get this problem sorted out.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Check fan relay, it may be deenergizing when it is not supposed to.

Fan switch sends signal to relay to enegrize when coolant temp. reaches switch temp.
Relays are used in high amp draw circuits.

Faulty relay will cause intermittent failure.

If problem persists, look for relay called "engine main".
