1996 Toyota Corolla positive battery clamp need help bad

here's my problem i had to fix the positive battery clamp so i cut the one originally off totally because it was corroded and i could take it off with a wrench i even cut this brass piece that runs with the positive wire to the terimnal that is my problem what is it and what does it do i need to get that brass connection or if there is somthing out there that i can replace the positive wire and that brass connecter

you can get a replacement end from any parts store. the brass lug is where other power wires hook to battery cable. If you left enough to drill another hole in it, you can attach to the replacement terminal. if not, remove the wiring attached to it and put terminal ends on it that will attach it to the battery terminal end. there's not alot of excess wireing there so be frugal with your trimming of wires. good luck
