1995 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
this morning i started my car and heated the engine for about 10 minutes before i backed out of my driveway. As soon as I back out and hit the break to put it in drive, the car just shuts off on me. i put it in park and tried starting it a couple of times without success. five minutes later i tried starting it again and it turned on. i didn't want to run the risk of it shutting off on me in the middle of the street once i drove away so i parked it back in my driveway and took the bus. i asked someone who supposedly knows about cars and he told me that the gas line could be frozen. Right now, the temperature isnt that cold to begin with (about 40 degrees Farenheit) but i still took his advice and bought some gas line antifreeze which i always put in my tank anyway when winter starts. This afternoon I tried starting it and left it on for about 10 minutes, backed out, backed into my driveway to see if it would do the same and it seemed just fine. I turned it off and waited for about two hours and then tried starting it again. Now, it wont start at all.. it makes the noise that its trying to start but it wont. I have never had a problem with this car and also i never noticed anything weird or unusual before all this happened.
If someone would help, I would greatly appreciate it.
