Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i recently purchased this car, ran fine brining it home and for teh next couple of days. This morning it would not start!
Engine would crank but not fire.
I could smell fuel from the exhaust pipe after it was cranked.
Checked for spark, getting intermitment spark.
Checked and then changed Distributor cap and rotor, they wer in pretty bad shape.
Pulled spark plugs, they were wet with fuel, dried them off cranked engine a couple of times with plugs out. replaced plugs and tried again. still will not start.
Where do i go from here??
