While at a stop light waiting to turn left, as the light changed and I pressed on the gas, the car felt like it was not getting enough power. I made the turn feeling like the car was going slower than it should. I noticed the overdrive light on the dash was flashing.

When I got home I turned the car off for a while then restarted it. No flashing lght and the car had all the pep it did as usual.

This is becoming more frequent and has caused me to drive with the overdrive off. The car still has less power taking off from a dead stop, but once up to speed it seems fine. I've resulted in start from a stop in low then shifting to d2 and then to drive once up to speed.

Is this an electrical problem. I've seen others online with a flashing overdrive light say it's a "speed sensor" problem.

Thanks in advance for your help.
