My A/C blew hot air from the moment I turned my car on today. It was blowing cold only 12 hours earlier (the night before). Because of the drastic change, I ruled out a refrigerant leak or shortage. I was thinking it was just a bad compressor, until my father-in-law kind of planted the idea in my head that it may be a bad switch of some sort.. that is not allowing the compressor to activate. would this be the compressor relay? also I've been told if the compressor went out, then I have to replace a few other parts as well as they are now contanimated (I've replaced only compressors on previous vehicles before with no problem). How do I troubleshoot these issues..I firgured now I'd just ask a real professional... Thanks.
