I went out to start my moms car this morning ,and all it would do is spit and sputter.
It would start some times ,and idle for a few seconds then sputter and quit.
It also would roll over hard sometimes ,and then roll over fine a few seconds later.
I would like to know what would cause that ,as this is the first time we've had it happen.

This is what I know about the car it's a 1993 toyota corolla 4wd .
The engine model is 4A-FE ,and it has been using a litre of oil every 2-3 weeks.
We use 5 W-30 synthetic oil in the engine.
It has also been losing antifreeze ,but I just found a lose hose clamp on the top rad hose today.
I figure that might be where the antifreeze was going ,as it had a few drops of antifreeze coming from the loose hose.
I don't want to rule out that it might be a engine symptom though.
Any help would be nice thanks

About an half hour after posting this the car started fine like nothing was wrong, but I still would like to know what would cause it to not start earlier this morning?
I forgot to put that it was about -15 to -20 but I had it plugged in ,so maybe it could be that .
But it starts in weather like that all winter long if not colder?
