Our `92 Toyota Corolla fails to start periodically especially after it has been running for a long time. I just changed the starter as it was starting to make that noise it makes when the selinoid does not engage the starter. The first problem has been going on for a while and when the starter went bad I figured the problems were related. The starter is fixed but I still have the same problem with the car not starting. When the key is turned the starter does nothing but the fuel pump activates and the instrument lights dim as if there is a draw on the electrical system. After the car has been sitting for a while it will start normally but this sitting period is becoming longer. Any ideas as to what is wrong?
