My car was cranking but didn't start. Now the car doesnot even crank now, no lights on, no radio or anything. Connected a jump starter on to the battery and nothing is still on.

Before all of this the car had problems starting in the cold, when I went to start it, it just clicked.

Also the car dies while driving on the road (45mph to 70mph) I have to pull over and try and restart the car again.

Please help this is my only way of getting around. I'm just a poor college student.

Now that there's nothing at all-check and test all your fusible links

To add to great advice by Raz.

Remove starter and have it bench tested.

Spray some starting fluid into throttle body, if engine runs a few seconds, then problem is fuel.
Next go to diagnostic link and jump +B and Fp, if car runs, then you have a bad relay.

The engine shutting off at speed indicates a bad ignitor. On this car, is cheaper to replace the entire dist. rather than ignitor itself.
