Engine Mechanical problem

hi thanks a lot for advice. i will go for checking of all engine wire and replace the coolant sensor. i leave in tropical country and my car had its thermostat removed as engine was heating lot. now am thinking of replacing it. is it a good idea or will the engine overheat again? here its difficult to get a new coolant sensor can i use a second hand? i also changed MAP sensor. but still the car choke and its idle is very high it never lowers after warm up. for the shime i want to postpone it if this will not choke the engine. distributor and cap have been changed
