Engine Performance problem
1992 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
my car shims are not well tuned. my mechanics says i have to buy new ones to replace. is there anyway to tune those already present. he says they can not be interchanged. do wrongly tuned shims cause engine to consume lot of fuel and choke sometime as my car fails to start after running.the engine becomes flooded with fuel which can be smelled from the exhaust. after carnking and pushing the accelerator the engine starts and knock and becomes normal. i will replace the coolant sensor when available.
