i can not find the fuel fitler on my car but i am loosing alot of power cause it is not getting enough gas

Hi there,
Is your car EFI or carby? if EFI it should be bolted to th fire wall it is a large metal filter, if carby , it is in the line going into the fuel pump, it will be a plastic in line filter.
