Have your alternator and starter checked.

Post your results and I will follow up.

Thank you and I will check the alternator first. Is there a way to check it while it is still in the car or should I remove it and then take it to an auto shop?

If the vehicle won't start, the alternator will have to be bench tested off of the vehicle. Auto part stores such as AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, and O'Reilly Auto Parts all run the test for free.

However, you can test the starter yourself. Test it by finding the cylinoid, useing a metal screw driver, cross it on the hot and negative posts of the cylinoid(careful, this may cause sparks). If the starter engages and starts the vehicle, you may have a bad cylinoid. If it doesn't engage at all, you may need a new starter or a starter wire has become faulty/loose.
