My brake lights are staying on

Hello my? Is that my brake lights are staying on when the lights are on and no one is pressing the brake. What can I do.

Hi there,

You will have faulty brake light switch which is mounted on the top of the brake pedal under the dash.

There is also a small plastic "pad" that the brake switch touches that can break and fall off causing the switch to not contact the pedal. You can adjust the switch, but if it will not shut off then as Mark said the switch is bad.
