the car starts and runs. It used to shake when going faster then 55miles. recently it doesn't even go past 20mph. the accelarator pedal, when fully stepped on it still doesn't go beyond 20mph. people tell me it's the gas and another guy with the same car said it was a tune up that i needed. with the shaking i was told i need a wheel balancing. but i am more concerned with the lack of power....I know you guys can help me out.

Take the convertor off and look inside, if melted or cracked, then convertor is problem.
Convertor is bolted on.
