Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl

My mother has a 1989 Toyota Corolla with a 1.6L. We were wondering if anyone knew the vacuum hose schematics, what the timing belt should be set at and what is the torque for the head gasket bolts? I would appreciate any help.

Thank you,
Melissa

Timing belt is installed straight up, i.e. crankshaft pointing to mark on oil pump, camshaft belt cog hole is at 12:00, or camshaft timing marks pointing at each other (9:00-3:00).

If 4AFE engine or 4ALC then headbolt torque is 44 lb ft. Do in increments, 20-30-44 in sequence.

4AGE is 22lb ft. then an additional 90 degrees and another 90 degrees.

Vacuun line routing should be on hood.
