First of all thank you for helping out with this question, bear with me I am still learning about my car. This has to do with my speedometer or odometer. When I purchased the car, driving it home everything seem to be working including speedometer. It has been sitting in my yard for 10 months eversince. When turning it back on the starter gave out so I replaced it, when testing it out the speedometer seem to have stop working all together, now I am in the process of giving the car a complete tuneup, my question is do I need to replace the speedometer or should I wait to give the car a tuneup before making that decision. And how do I know if it's the speedometer or something else?

To add to what rasmataz said:

These cars have a mechanical speedometer, in other words, they are driven by cables, two of them. The lower cable (trans. To IP cable) usually fails first.

They are available from Toyota.
