Hello, my car just started overheating, I read the Hanes manual;but. Here goes: yes, I have a SMALL leak in the radiator, and the engine>hot/ the radiator hose(front) is not. When I squezzed the hose theres no pressure and the hose is not hot. I had a new water pump put in about 4 yrs ago. I can drive 2 miles and the car will start steaming under the hood. BUT the temp gauge is in the middle? HELP!

Check the thermostat and water pump, if it continues to overheat get it block and pressure tested.

Check that cooling fans are working, but a leak in the radiator will most likely be the cause.
