When turning the key in the ignition, the starter won't turn over. There is no sound at all. The battery is good, the radio and lights come on when the key is turned, and go out when I turn to the start position. This sounds like a problem with the starter, but I can't locate where the starter is.

First take to any autoparts store and have the charging system tested. If you can jump start it then go to autoparts store, if you cannot jump it, then the problem is starter or ign. switch, or bad electrical connection.

Battery may have 12V but no amps (or very little).

Starter is located in rear (firewall side) where engine and transmission mate. They can be difficult to see, because of intake manifold.
