I have a 1987 toyota corolla FX and I have never had a problem before now. It runs just fine when it is idleing but if you push on the gas it dies, put it in gear and let off the clutch it wants to die. We changed the fuel filter didnt work, changed the fuel pump didnt work, changed all the spark plugs and wires, didnt work, dont know where or if my car even has a catylac converter? tried advancing the timing because it almost sounded like the timing but that was the problem either. any suggestions left?
