Engine Mechanical problem
1985 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Automatic

i have recently aquired a 1985 Toyota Corolla Sedan, car hadnt been started in 3 years, cleaned it up a bit, put some fuel in it and a new battery, tried to start it, car wants to turn over but fails to do so, when fuel is poured straight into the carby it starts perfectly and runs until the fuel in the carby runs out, assuming this is the fuel pump or fuel lines, how would i access the fuel pump? and where is it?
