Shakes or Wobbles problem
2001 Toyota Celica 4 cyl Automatic 152000 miles

I just got this car used about a month ago and every time I fill my tank up with gas the car shakes really bad for about 20-30 seconds. The other day after I filled my tank up, my car would start and then shut off. Finally it started and stayed on but then started shaking like usual only worse. I took it to a mechanic and they have no clue what it is. Any ideas?

I was with you until you said the mech had no idea what it is. You see mech's are like cars and people no two are alike.
It is safe to say if you went to a reputable mech' then he checked all the obvious stuff that we always check.

But now you need to get your car to a specialist' a garage that specializes in toyota and works on the same line everyday. Anyone can repair it. But someone has to diagnose the prob. Make an appointment at the toyota dealer save yourself a lot of time and money.

REMEMBER no one can repair your car until you approve
