Engine Cooling problem
1993 Toyota Celica 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Manual 110000 miles

I changed the thermostat, flished the radiator, the going more than 65 mph, the gauge needle moves up a line or two. If I turn the heater on the needle drops. When I turn the heater off, the needle climbs again?

The heater core is like a mini radiator, and when you turn on the fans it cools off the fluid making it run cooler, it will go up a little bit, when the heater is off, its normal.
