My fuel pump was working for then it quit. I hit the bottom of the gas tank with my hand a couple times. It stated working again. Two days later I was driving and the car died on me. The part store showed me how to hook the fuel pump up to my battery to see if it was good or not. The pump kicked on like it was supposed to. My question is: What else could prevent the fuel pump from coming on and working?

Its attached to the aircleaner housing it has a wiring connector that has about 7 small wire to it-when it leaves the aircleaner. I recomemend you get a repair manual this one can be a nightmare to fix-

Do this find the diagnostic check connector and jumper Batt to Fp terminal and attempt to start
