So my boyfriend left his lights on all night one night and in the morning his battery was dead, so he thought. We tried to jump it for a long time with my car but didnt work only the lights started working but the car wouldnt even turn on. Its power steering too. So we got a new battery brand new and replaced it and still only the lights work. Do you think it may be the fuses, the new battery? Or something major?

Hi djanowski775 and TY for the donation

Okay make sure the battery is properly tightened and free of corrosion. Does it crank over? Let me know asap so that we can continue we still got a long way to go.

Hi djanowski775 and TY for the donation

Okay there's a problem on the start circuit-try this take a jumper wire from the battery positive post straight to the starter motor small terminal with a black wire and tell me if the starter engages the engine-we start here

Am not talking about a jumper cable here just a wire from the battery positive post to the starter motor solenoid small terminal this will power the solenoid and cause the starter to engage the engine instead of using the ignition switch.

Also inspect and test all the fusible links
