Make: Toyota
Model: Camry LE 4 door sedan (4 cylinders) - 1999
Engine size: 2.2 L
Mileage: 65000 miles (approx)

Carpet of the front passenger side of my Camry has been saturated with water since last month or so (or this is when I have noticed). It is not related to rain as it has been dry for months now and my car is parked in a port.

Does this hane anything to do with the car AC? Please help as I do not want the body to rust.

Thanks, Sharad Saxena

sounds like a bad heater core. check the coolant level if it is low then chances are thats the problem. Also with the heat on high on defrosters do you notice "fog" on the windows, if so it is definetely the heater core.

Hi there,

If your car is not loosing coolant, i would be checking that the A/C drain tube is correctly installed, you should be able to see the hose under the bonnet on the fire wall sticking out where the two A/C pipes go in, if it is not installed or cracked, water from the A/C (this is water drawn from the air due to the dehumidifying action of the A/C and nothing to do with the cooling/heating system) will collect on the floor.
