I have a 94 Toyota Camry LE (4 cylinder) with 197,000 miles. I was driving home last sunday and all of the sudden the car just stopped....like the engine died. Immediately my oil light and battery light came on. Luckily I coasted to the side of the freeway. When I got out to look there was some kind of fluid (it was dark and I couldn't tell if it was oil, transmission) everywhere... When I turn the key I still have battery, but the engine will not start at all. I am just wondering what could be wrong.

Deal with the leakage 1st and identify the color of the fluid and then comeback

It could be the water pump, along with possibly the timing belt that broke, if it is dark and old anifreeze that is leaking. If it's oil or tranny fluid, then your problem could be bigger. Good luck.
