Battery dead, jump start doesn't work, what's wrong?
1999 Toyota Camry, 140,000 miles. Today, I tried to start my car and nothing happened, power locks, lights, nothing will start in the car now. The battery is fairly new. Attempted to jump-start car twice and was unsuccessful both times, although, when the car was initially jump-started, the light around the key ignition and a service light would turn on, but would quickly turn off once I inserted key into ignition and attempted to turn car on.

Hi there,
It sound like you have a poor connection with your jumper leads, try fitting a fully charged battery and starting it, When running test alternator charge rate. Don't attempt to change batteries with engine running, Bench charge your battery and re fit.
