I just bought an '88 Toyota Camry, 2 L 4 Cyl Automatic with 220,000 miles on it. (Runs great. Straight, no shakes, no knocks). It seems to get lousy gas mileage. Supp with that? Also, what motor oil should I use in such a high mileage car? I live in Oregon (rain, don’t you know), and only make short trips of 7 miles there and 7 miles back every 2 days. What's the best motor oil to use?

Last major-major tune-up and what was replaced no recollection-get it done. Won't hurt to change the oxygen sensor/s. For the oil use the yellow stuff called-PennZ 10W40. I've been using that since it was invented or whatever and will continue to use it all the way till am 9ft below.
