2.0 5 speed, 118K miles. I replaced the airfilter today and when I went to turn the car on it would start then immediatly die. It did this several times. Then I popped the hood and made sure I had everything connected. It started right up. Then I took it for a quick spin around the block and everytime I get off the gas and put in the clutch it practically shuts off, then I get it into gear get on the gas and its back to life. But If I push on the gas pedal quick the rpm gauge doesn't keep up. and then as soon as I get off the gas the rpm gauge almost redlines then it dies down to where ever I am on the pedal. HELP

Check the TPS and IACV-won't hurt to recheck the MAF sensor

alright back to normal, the MAF sensor plug had a but of dirt and corrosion so it wasn't sitting correctly. thanks
