2005 Toyota Camry Maintainace Required flasing for six-time

Hi,

Whenever I start my engine, the Maint Reqd is flashing for exactly six times and then going off. This is happenning continously and consistantly for past 2 weeks.

Was the oil change done?

The light will flash if the light was not reset at the time of the change.
To reset:
1-put the key in the acc position with the odometer showing.
2-turn the key to the on position. Hold the trip meter reset button until the odometer shows "000000", takes about 5 seconds.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did the oil change only one month back. But at that time, the mechanic said that I need to change the Power Steering Fluid. Is this the reason for the flashing

Did you do the reset that I just wrote. The light needs to be reset.

What does your power steering fluid look like?
An no that isn't the reason.

Hi,

Thanks for the solution and it worked. I didn't done it properly for the first time. Actually what I did now is

hold the trip meter reset meter button and turn the key to the on position until the odometer shows "000000", and it take less 5 seconds.
