We have a 2002 Toyota Camry, the problem that we're having is when the car is cruzing at 55 to 60 miles per hour the car boggs down an doesn't allow you to go any faster. Now we would like to keep up with the traffic. We have taken it to the mechanic which he checked the computer, both 02 sensors, checked the catylitic converters, spark plugs, changed serpentine belt and we're still having an excelleration problem. The mechanic stated after cleaning the throttle body, that the problem could be the excellerator peddle sensor. We need your help now, Please!

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires

Just start with a full tune , scan and comp test, see if that shows any problems.
