Hi,

Is it possible for a fairly car-knowledgeable person (my boyfriend) to replace this himself? I found the part already here: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/details/QQToyotaQQSolaraQQReplacementQQCornering_LightQQ20022003QQT104109.html

I just need to take out the old light and replace it. How hard it is to do and what steps does it require? Any idea how much it would cost if I took it to a mechanic, if I bought the part myself? Thank you!

Hi there,

There should be a screw on the top off the grille next to the light you want to remove take out. 9Look at the new one you will see the hole on the plastic side mount) the light is fixed internally with a plastic clip arrangement that will dislodge by striking the light firmly with the palm of your hand in a motion that would slide the lens forward. (make any sense?) These lenses can be very stubborn to dislodge , so i would take it to your mechanic it should take him on a few minutes to replace.
