On 6/16 this car had a check engine code of 1150 and had the AF sensor for Bank 2 sensor 1 replaced. Also on this date had the 60000 mile service performed. Almost right away the check engine light came on. The car was rechecked on 6/18 and codes P0300/P0302/P0305 came up. This time they replaced # 2 coil.Again the check engine light returned and the same codes came up. The dealer now says that they need to replace all the fuel injectors. The car is not running rough. The dealer says that it is when cold but we cannot observe that. When we questioned the need to replace instead of cleaning the dealer says it is not a mechanical problrm but an electrical one. I want an assurence that this will fix the problem but its more like this is the first step to possibly more parts replacement. What is going on? Any help on this will be appreciated.

Hi paul,

I doubt replacing the injectors would solve the problem.

The misfiring could be a by product of some other problems.

I would suggest putting the vehicle on a diagnostic to check the data performances of all sensors to verify which is not performing properly.

Scanning will only tell you the possible faults, but a diagnosis will show all possible causes.

If the dealer can give a money back guarantee if replacement of those parts will solve the problem, then you can ask them to go ahead, but I am sceptical.

There are two different Tech bullitens on Camry for misfire codes, 1 for California emmision cars= clean injectors, and replace the ECM, the other is for Camry built in the USA, this one requires coil replacement.
